Hogbites can't bring the heat

My second review is for Hogbites' Spicy Chilli Hand-cooked Pork Scratchings.

Flavour: 2/5 - Massively underdelivers - where is the chilli? They have a slight aftertaste of what may be chilli, but pack no punch at all. There isn't even a nice porky flavour to back it up the lack of chilli, rather unimpressive.

Texture: 4/5 - A lovely mixture of crunchy and soft. But the crunchy bits could be crunchier and the soft bits a bit softer. Overall pretty nice.

Aesethics: 3/5 - So these look like a nice size but for 'spicy chilli' they are far too light. The picture makes them look slightly darker than they are - in reality they seem to be an unpleasant light beige.

Verdict:

3/5 fine swines, could be great but the flavour lets it down.

Would I buy again? No.
